of the Lebring Crematorium for Animals
The animal crematorium Lebring was founded in 2002 by the Renate and Eduard Reininger in Landscha an der Mur in southern Styria, originally under the name “Tierkrematorium E.Reininger” as a family business in the form of a pet crematorium. This idea developed out of the love for animals.
In the course of moving to a new location in Lebring (approx. 20 km south of Graz, directly on the A9 motorway), we decided to also offer a dignified farewell to other animal species and equipped the new animal crematorium with additional cremation facilities, one of which can be used for cremating large animals up to a weight of 1000 kg.
Since our reopening at the beginning of 2019, we can proudly call ourselves the largest and most modern animal crematorium in Austria, which is the only facility of its kind to offer a graceful farewell to every animal.
We are very proud to work with competent animal undertakers in order to serve pet owners in all provinces of Austria as well as in border regions abroad and to be able to carry out cremations for our partners. You will find a list of our partners in the appendix. You are free to contact either one of our partners or us directly in case of need.
Since October 2020, the Lebring Crematorium is run by the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reininger – Mrs. Christina Pusnik – who works full-time as an executive officer and her husband – Mr. Christian Pusnik – who previously worked for the Graz Fire Brigade – also under the principle of animal love. They are supported by some employees from their close family environment. The couple also lives in Lebring with two children and several four-legged family members.

Our Goals
Our aim is to offer deceased animals the possibility of a honourable last journey.
Regardless of whether the pet owner decides between cremation, burial or industrial disposal of their pet, they should be informed about all the options and be able to choose the desired path for themselves and their loved ones. As individual as the relationships between humans and animals are, so are the decisions about saying goodbye to each other.
The highest premise of Tierkrematorium Lebring is the respect of every living being and the dignified treatment of all animals and their owners that come to us.
We strive to support pet owners as best we can during this difficult time of parting, to relieve them as much as possible of their worries about the process and to provide all the information they require at any time.
